TRIDENT UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL

Trident University International (TUI) is a regionally authorized income driven school where all courses are passed on the web. It offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degree programs in Business, Health Sciences, Education, and Information Systems. Trident University is a past branch grounds of Touro College, later purchased by Summit Partners.Trident University is a past branch grounds of Touro College, which was built up in 1970 in New York City. In October 2007, Trident transformed into a stand-alone association and was acquired by Summit Partners, a private-esteem firm in Palo Alto, California, and Boston, Massachusetts. Consequent to obtaining the school, Summit Partners patched up TUI as an income driven association and changed the name to Trident University International.


In July 2009, Kenneth J. Sobaski, prior of Capella University, was named President and CEO. In January 2011, TUI University pronounced critical changes in its appearance and transport, including a name change to Trident University International. Break president Nolan Miura gave an account of December 12, 2011 the game plan of Lucille Sansing as president and CEO. On November 10, 2013, Andy Vaughn was named President and Chief Executive Officer.

Trident University is commonly authorized by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Their accreditation was crippled in 2011 by insistences that it had "fail to ensure that understudies moving into its student program had fulfilled their general guideline requirements and, more altogether, fail to teach the accreditor concerning the issue." In February 2012, WASC lifted the "show cause" orchestrate effectively constrained on Trident and put the school on post trial supervision due to Trident's headway in deciding the issues recognized. Following one year, WASC emptied Trident's probation and reaffirmed its accreditation.
